“I’ve always been fascinated by how our hair gives away so many micro details about who we are, where we're from, our lifestyles, passions, beliefs.

I love to play with this idea to tell stories and create characters through my work.”

Mike spent the early years of his hairdressing career based in Liverpool before moving and honing his craft in Melbourne, New York and Miami before settling in London.

He then spent several years assisting full time under many of the industry's leading artists, including Eugene Soulieman, Duffy, Paul Hanlon, Cyndia Harvey, Gary Gill and Malcolm Edwards. In 2017 at the annual IT List awards, Mike was awarded the Fashionista award by Creative Head Magazine, recognising a "rising star" within the fashion industry.

Mike draws on a diverse skill set, honed from years learning from the session world’s finest talent. Confident with all hair types, wigs and male grooming, he has worked with Burberry, Marni, Mr Porter, Selfridges, Mulberry, Zara, H&M, Dunhill, Acne, British Vogue, Beauty Papers and AnOther.
